End-of-life means the alarm has reached the end of its 10-year service life and must be replaced.
This is indicated by
- Amber LED flashing + 2 chirps every 60 seconds
What to do
- The alarm should be replaced immediately.
- Pressing the Test/Silence button can temporarily silence this warning for up to 72 hours during the first 30 days.
Important Safety Notice
Do not ignore end-of-life warnings. Protection is reduced once the unit reaches end-of-life.
