What it means
A fault means the unit has experienced an internal error and must be replaced.
How it’s indicated
- Amber LED flashing + 3 chirps every 60 seconds
Examples include
- smoke sensor fault
- CO sensor fault (7300 / 7400)
- temperature fault

Fault warnings cannot be ignored. The alarm may no longer respond to danger.
