What it means
Smoke Memory is a feature that lets you know your alarm previously detected smoke after the condition has cleared. This can be helpful if an alarm occurred while you were away or unable to immediately identify the source.
How it works
After a smoke event, the alarm will provide a visual indication to show that smoke was previously detected. This indication remains active for a period of time after the event has cleared.
Why this is useful
Smoke Memory helps you: • confirm that an alarm event occurred • investigate potential causes • ensure your home remains safe
Important Note
The exact visual indication (LED color and pattern) may vary by model. Refer to your specific user guide for details.
How it resets
Smoke memory resets automatically after 24 hours or when the Test/Silence button is pressed.
