A chirp every 60 seconds usually indicates low battery, a fault condition, or that the alarm has reached end-of-life.
Common meanings
1 chirp + amber LED flash
- Low battery warning
2 chirps + amber LED flash
- End-of-life warning
3 chirps + amber LED flash
- Fault condition — replace immediately
Important Safety Notice
- A chirp is different from a full emergency alarm.
- If the alarm is sounding loudly and continuously, treat it as a real emergency.
